Red Flag

"When life gives you lemonade, make lemons... Life will be like whaaat?" - Phil, Modern Family.  Hilarious.

Being told to stop when you were just about ready to run is disheartening.  You know.  You're late, in free flowing traffic and all the lights you pass are green.  You pass so many consecutive green lights you just expect the following one to be green too.  But it lights caution, so you speed up and think you'll pass it just in time.  And then red. You come to a screeching halt.

You watch other cars drive by happily at the intersection, while you are told to stop.  You know that your turn to move forward again will come, and it will come soon, but this doesn't make you feel less agitated.  You are still frustrated, because there is somewhere you need to be.

Don't you absolutely hate it when life doesn't respect your schedule? You have a perfectly worked out plan and it shakes its finger in your face saying "no, no".  The things you have planned in your life have set dates by which you need to get them, but life has its own ideas.

So you just sort of have to wait for the universe to realign itself with your mission and vision. Longest wait of your life, but what else are you going to? Curse until the light turns green? 

Then one moment-it does go green. You put your car in gear one and start moving again... In a rush to reach full speed before the next pothole. Life and it's shenanigans.

Good luck with your journey. Smile and wave as you drive past others so they don't hoot and scold you for causing traffic delays when it's your turn.
